Ski Trip 2018

In February half term 43 students from Roundhay set off to beautiful Austria for our Ski trip. We headed to the Ski Admade region near Salzburg, to a town called Alpendorf. We had been here once before, so knew we were in for a week on fantastic skiing. The pupils and staff had a fantastic week with some of the best snow we have ever seen!

Student skier Luke Robinson writes:

I loved the skiing and although I have been before I thought it was a better than place I been before, I loved the views and the snow was brilliant lots of powder witch made it challenging but very fun at the same time. I was in the top group and my ski instructor was Marius, he was very funny and liked to challenge the group. The other groups also loved it, we weren’t sure Miss Armstrong was going to carry on skiing after the first day, but she loved it by day 5! The night activities we did swimming, bowling (Mr Wilcox wasn’t very good!), quiz and we visited Salzburg to go shopping.  My favorited activity was swimming because of the slide and we all played volleyball. Over all I had a fantastic week and will have some good memories for life. I would definitely do the trip again in the future as I really enjoyed it.
