Super-Curricular
Links to a range of opportunities designed to motivate and inspire students outside of lessons can be found below. Please note that these activities are simply opportunities for those that wish to participate and are in no way essential for progression to university courses and future careers.
Additionally, one-off opportunities may come into school and will be advertised to students.
If you decide to make an application for any of the masterclasses/taster days/summer schools please let the Sixth Form Office and your Head of Year know.
THE SUPPLEMENTARY PROGRAMME
All students at Roundhay Sixth Form are invited to take part in our UCAS support programme. Students that decide to apply for more competitive courses such as those featured below or to a competitive Oxbridge university are invited to join a tailored supplementary programme of activities and events that are designed to give our students the best chance of success. Please contact Mrs K Robinson krobinson@roundhayschool.com for details of upcoming opportunities.
For current students we have put together a comprehensive guide to gaining work experience and super-curricular activities in a document available on our internal Everyone Drive. Please locate this document in the Sixth Form UCAS folder or copy and paste this link in a folder when logged onto the school network. W:\Sixth Form\UCAS\Medical Work Exp during Covid.docx
