Sixth Form Mooting Competition

This 8-week competition in the Autumn term is in collaboration with the University of Leeds and local Barristers Chambers. The event, for two teams of 5 students, is designed to enable them to learn what Mooting is, and learn the skills to debate, challenge, and construct arguments, along with many of the key elements of the legal and many other professions. Students are trained by local Barristers and mentored by the University of Leeds Law students on a weekly basis and go head to head with other schools in front of a judge. We are delighted that we are in the 2022 final at Leeds Family Court!
