Uniform

Children are expected to wear a uniform as follows:

Winter Uniform

  • Green sweatshirt/ Cardigan with Roundhay logo
  • Black trousers, skirt or pinafore/tunic dress
  • White polo shirt with Roundhay School logo
  • Plain flat black shoes (no trainers,coloured shoes, laces or designs)
  • White, grey or black socks or tights

Summer Uniform

  • Green sweatshirt/ Cardigan with Roundhay logo
  • Green gingham dress
  • Black tailored  trousers, skirt or pinafore/tunic dress
  • White polo shirt with Roundhay School logo
  • Plain flat black shoes (no trainers,coloured shoes, laces or designs)
  • White, grey or black socks or tights

Book Bag

Book Bag with Roundhay logo ( no keyrings)


  • No jewellery ( other than plain studs for pirced ears ) or make up permitted.
  • Long hair should be tied back with simple bobbles (green bobbles,small bows and simple headbands are acceptable) 
  • Your child will NOT need a pencil case, school provide all necessary equipment. 
  • We provide aprons for messy and wet activities but accidents do happen. Please do not expect your child to come home with a clean jumper! It is important that they feel able to play and experiment freely. 

All items should be labeled with your childs name and class


Outdoor Clothing

Pupils will need warm winter hats, or sun hats depending on the weather.

Baseball caps and hats should not be worn inside buildings. The wearing of a veil that covers the face, in school, is not acceptable.


 P.E and Games

 Key Stage 1 and 2

Indoor

  • White polo shirt
  • Plain, black PE shirts
  • Plain black trainers and black pumps (plimsolls) 

Outdoor

  • Black shorts and tracksuit bottoms (outdoor)
  • Plain black PE shorts
  • White polo shirt
  • Jumper (children may use their school jumper or other jumper from home in the winter months as long as it is on top of their PE t -shirt) 
  • Trainers ( not school shoes) 

PE can be kept safe in a kit-bag ( e.g a drawstring bag ) for the full half term. 

Reception Only

  • Children will NOT need a PE kit in Reception,physical development is a priority and is addressed throughout the curriculum. Children have regular access to the outdoor environment each day.
  • Children spend much of their time learning in the outdoor environment in Reception. Therefore, every child will need a pair of wellingtons which should be kept at school. A sensible coat which is warm and waterproof will also be needed each day. 
  • RECEPTION ONLY: 50p to contribute towards the Reception fund each Monday. This money goes towards resources for cooking and other activities which we would be unable to do without your donations.
