Primary School of the Year Award
Roundhay Primary Campus (part of the Roundhay All-Through School) has been awarded the Primary School of the Year Award at the Pearson National Teaching Awards in a prestigious ceremony held in London on Sunday Evening.
They have been selected from thousands of nominations, and Roundhay Primary Campus was honoured alongside fellow Gold Winners across 15 categories. The Awards have been covered on BBC’s One Show during the previous week.
- Roundhay School is consistently the most oversubscribed school in the city
- Results above national averages across all key stages, including 100% of Year 1 pupils passing the all-important phonics screening test.
- As a Through-School, including a very large and successful Sixth Form, was also accredited as a ‘World Class’ school following a rigorous assessment process.
