Love Roundhay Festival

The ‘Love Roundhay’ Festival (10th-14th July) is a week-long programme of enrichment and learning activities with the intention of celebrating the different cultures and individuals that make up our community.

As a school, we are working towards the Global Competency Quality Mark over the coming year, focusing on building culturally responsive attitudes, policies, structures and practices to best serve the needs of our diverse community.

The LoveRoundhay celebration week will culminate in a themed non-uniform day, The Great Roundhay Feast and a GupShup on Friday 14th July.

Taking suggestions from students, they wanted the non-uniform day to celebrate themselves and their cultures, so we are encouraging all students to ‘dress to impress’. The £1 donation will support a Duke of Edinburgh expedition where a group of our pupils will be living amongst the local rural Berber community in Morocco and helping to build irrigation systems which will significantly improve their lifestyle.
