Excellent A Level Results

We are delighted that our largest cohort of over 200 Roundhay students have achieved excellent A Level/BTEC Level 3 results. Students, staff and parents have all worked hard to achieve high outcomes.

Many students will now progress to university, further training or employment, or embark on GAP years.

Provisional summary of results:

  • Just under 25% of all passes were at grade A*/A and 73% A*-C
  • Average level of points per entry was 34.18 which is the equivalent of a C+ grade
  • 100% pass rate at BTEC with half gaining a distinction* or distinction.

High Achievers

Many of our students achieved outstanding results which has ensured they will progress to some of the most prestigious universities in the country.

Maddi Gomez-Iradi: 2 x A*, 2 x A plus A* in EPQ (University of Bath - Architecture-with placement)

Martin Humphries: 1 x A*, 2 x A plus A* in EPQ (University of Warwick- Computing Science)

Ayoob Khalil: 4 x A plus A in EPQ (London School of Economics - Accounting and Finance)

Roddy MacSween: 3 x A* plus A in EPQ (University of Cambridge – Computer Science) 

Kieran McDermott: 1 x A*, 2 x A (Warwick University – Mathematics)

Lucy Millichamp: 1 x A*, 2 x A plus B EPQ (UCL – Architecture)

Sam Moore: 2 x A*, 1 x A (Lancaster University – Mathematics)

Rebecca Ness: 3 x A (Nottingham University - History and politics)

Htet Oo: 3 x A plus B in EPQ – (Still considering options to study Medicine)

Rosie Probyn: 3 x A (Sussex University - Anthropology and International Development)

Joe Prollins: 3 x A, 1 x B (Surrey University - Chemical Engineering)

Howie Stones: 3 x A plus A in EPQ (Lancaster University - Geography/North America

Nathan Wong: 1 x A*, 2 x A (Imperial College London – Biomedical Engineering)

Zayba Yasin: 1 x A*, 2 x A (Leeds University - Economics and Geography)
